Tae Kwon Do
is a martial art that was developed by a Korean army general using his experience of other ancient martial arts. General Choi
Hong Hi named his art in 1955,when translated,Tae Kwon Do literally means the art of hand and foot fighting.
Tae Kwon Do was
introduced into Great Britain in 1967 and now is also practised all over the world.
Tae Kwon Do improves general fitness,flexibility,discipline and self confidence.
It is suitable for almost anyone,young or old. Whatever your goals in martial arts,be it self defence,fitness,flexibility
or competition sparring Tae Kwon Do can help you.

Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain
The T.A.G.B was founded in 1983 and currently has over 22,000 members in over 600
schools nationwide. We hold regular gradings,competitions,seminars and courses,all organised by the commitee whose members
hold world recognition as leading instructors and martial artists in their own right.
The T.A.G.B grading syllabus is designed to gradually develop a personal fitness,confidence
and understanding of self defence techniques. The training environment is structured and disciplined. All our instructors
are fully qualified,first aid certificate holders with Public Imdemnity Insurance and are Criminal Records checked.
